My new favorite blog, which I discovered by way of
Jack Betts, is
North Carolina Miscellany. They've been posting their favorite campaign “ephemera,” including
seed packets from Comissioner of Agriculture candidate Ronnie Ansley and a picture of
a cute child trying to build a house from supporters of now-governor Bev Perdue. But the best is the
Baracktoberfest poster that came out in Chapel Hill and Carrboro. I definitely remember hearing about this event, but somehow I missed the poster…

I heard a good many conservatives complaining about the dear-leader undertones of many Obama posters. Such conservatives didn't spend enough time around bored but creative graphic designers to understand their irony.
N.B.: I don't know if James Poulos ever checks this blog, but in the last sentence I wanted to say “sense of irony,” and I didn't, just in case he sees this.
